Depression Doesn't Always Have A Face or Mood

Please watch this video. A video to show everyone that depression doesn’t have a face or mood.  The video is about Chester Bennington, frontman of Linkin Park, 36 Hours before he took his own life.  His wife Talinda decided to share the video to show everyone that this is what depression looked like to their family, he was in good spirits, laughing, surrounded by the ones who love him the most and who he loved the most.
Depression doesn’t always have a face or mood to go along with how one is actually feeling, because it’s so much easier faking a smile than explaining why you’re are sad. People think depression is sadness, crying or dressing in black. But people are wrong. Depression is the constant feeling of being numb.  The saddest people are the kindest and funniest, because it gives us joy to see other people smile and laugh, because they wouldn’t want anyone to ever feel the way that they do.
When you have been dealing with the daily battle of depression, you keep it on the inside cause that’s the safest place hide because you don’t even know how to explain it to someone, you feel empty, numb, an everyday war in your head, where when you can sleep it is like an escape till you wake up and still feel tired.
